Video and Stream Blog
The time has finally come to start a video blog. I'm excited to announce that I will be setting up some weekly streams to discuss books, topics, questions and anything else that comes up. This will be my first run at streaming/recording so I'm hoping it goes well. The main reason I'm doing this is to try and make my site that much more personal. My goal has been and always will be to create an awesome community that will continue to grow and grow. So far I have been extremely grateful for the thousands of followers that I've got already and appreciate all their feedback.
In the last few weeks the community has really showed up in a big way. I've had help naming chapters in one of my upcoming books, Pedirol. I received a massive amount of awesome names to be used in future books. And I even received some awesome feedback on an exclusive chapter release for my soon-to-be released book, Fathom. Because of the great involvement I believe that the video blog will be an excellent tool. Picture this below but without the chair, pretty background and most the time I'll look terrible. But who cares? It's the internet...
Where did that chair come from?
In the next few weeks I will be looking for advice to acquire the correct hardware and software to get things lit up! Once I have it all set up the next phase will be, you guessed it, more community involvement. I want questions, ideas and interesting topics for discussion. These will help me create ideas and polish up my work. Plus you'll get to know me that much better.
I won't drag this brief post on any further than I have to so I'll summarize it up. Video/Streaming is coming! I'll do my best to create some sort of schedule for those that want it live. And for those who can't see the live stream, no worries, I'll record the streams and throw them on my YouTube channel that has been sitting as empty as my bank account for the last months :).
As always a BIG shout out to all my awesome followers and fans!
And please, if you have any questions, comments, concerns or just want to pick each other's brains, let me know. I am ready and willing. If you haven't already hit me up on Twitter or Facebook! Use my hashtag #mikelparry for all your Mikel Parry needs.
Looking forward to what's coming next!
